Yep a story from today photography adventure I must share
Was at 47th-50th Street waiting for the B Or D Train to go to downtown (Original plan), and 3 women actually compliment me on how I’m doing a positive note with myself doing photography and stuff. When the D Train came, we got on, and thats where I really feel like its going positive and on a good note. They asked and begged me to see some of my work and surprisingly believe it or not, They actually enjoyed my flower photos and My NYC Subway photos. When the train arrived at West 4th Street, I knew I had time to kill, so I decided to stay on the train with them until Brooklyn. They called me “The Positive and Respectful Photographer” Because I don’t take pictures of like fights, people abusing kids and taking pics of homeless people dying and making fun of them. And also point out to me, “I Have a talent into doing digital photography” and they were even more impressed when they learned I did most of the learning of photography on my own (Taught myself mostly). And also convinced me to try Instagram. So after learning more about it, I’ve decided this time to go for the try. They even showed me their pictures of the sunset taken with their phones. The photos Were actually nice and actually great and not bad. And we also talked on how a good photographer is the one who tried different stuff and techniques. And the attitude of me they saw how I treat photography, they say “I’m one of the nicest photographers and should continue with my great work”.
So I got off 62nd Street. Gave them my website and one of them actually gave me their instagram. And I’m actually connected to one of them now on instagram. I’m happy that my photography can bring positive stuff and feelings. And I’m grateful that I’m still doing photography. I will continue to do the best that I can be. Win or lose, It’s all about doing what you enjoy doing
